CJ Thouret ¹ is the Principal and Owner of CruxHomes. He is a Certified Building Commissioning Professional ² who offers more than 20 years of professional experience and expertise in both construction methodology and trades. His specialties include building commissioning,3 retro-commissioning, energy studies, new construction and renovations, construction administration, third-party building inspections, field coordination, design review and design support.

Rebecca Costigan

Chief Engineer

Rebecca is the chief engineer at CruxHomes. She is a Mechanical Engineer with over 20 years of experience in sustainable energy and building systems. She has provided engineering-related services from energy audits and building envelope evaluations to ongoing quality assurance support and technical assistance for active construction projects throughout the country.

Rebecca has performed ASHRAE Level I and II Energy Audits, Commercial building inspections, Property Condition Assessments and ESA Phase I as well as Reserve Fund and Transition Studies. Rebecca has additionally performed Commercial Building Energy Efficient Tax Deduction 179D evaluations, cost segregation studies, and has participated in building modeling for LEED, ASHRAE, and Energy Star
